There is a thick undertone of dark chocolate, and plenty more of the exotic spiciness, in a very long finish. Fabulous.

From one of the leading producers of Calvados, this is complex with strong fruit aromas. It has round and long lasting aromas. On the palate it has strong apple and dry fruit character. Produced from sweet, bittersweet, bitter apple and apples with acidity that are mixed together, crushed and pressed. The apple juice ferments completely. The cider is distilled and aged for a minimum 4 years, in new 400 litre Loire oak casks for the first months and then in similar old casks until it reaches full maturity.

'Most' is the Italian term for the grape juice prior to fermentation. This Aqua vita is an extremely high quality distilled spirit for connoisseurs, made from only the freshest and highest quality Friulian grapes that are carefully selected by the Tosolini family. The Most, which is the feather in the company's hat, starts out with crushed, destemmed grapes that are left to ferment in wood vats. The distillation then takes place in copper stills in a discontinuous cycle, which was invented by Bepi Tosolini more than 50 years ago in order to guarantee the continuity of the flavours and aromas of the grape harvest. The result is anacquavite with a delicate, aromatic bouquet that remains on the palate with a dry aftertaste.
Bepi Tosolino is renowned for making some of Italy's greatest Grappas. This fine clear spirit has a hint of red and black fruit and makes a great digestif.
For over 60 years, the Bepi Tosolini distillery has been the finest Italian representation of high quality grappa and grape distillates. This is a fabulous aged grappa made from Tocai pomace. The twist here is that Barrique Castagno means 'chestnut barrel', which is extremely unusual.
